This site has been designed to promote the sport in the West London area and also provides information about the Westside Basketball Club who run a number of teams in various Leagues around London and nationally. The Club was established in January 2000 with the main focus on developing the wealth of basketball talent that exists, particularly in West London and was financed by a lottery grant from Awards for All and Sports England.

The senior mens team compete in National League Division 3 and also have regional teams competing in the Middlesex and Metropolitan Men's Premier Leagues. The U21's mens team compete in National League Division 4 and provides opportunity for talented young players to make the transition to senior basketball at the national level. The club also runs two senior womens team with one in National League Division 2 and one which competes regionally. In addition, the club provides a comprehensive basketball development programme for boys and girls from 8 - 20. The main emphasis of the club is to provide a sporting outlet reaching all people regardless of age, race, gender and ethnic group.
